The West Coast 2020 final concert embraces a festive mood: the celebration of the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birth (the exact date is 18 days from now). And on tonight's program, it materializes, following two fundamental traits of this composer's personality: the love for Nature and the value he placed on the nobility of human ideals. As fundamental in their time as they are today. In the ‘Beethoven’s Parlor’ fits the Earth where we all live! To paraphrase his most famous work: “rest the soft wing of joy on us all”.
