Filipa Oliveira

Recorder

Began her musical studies at the School of Music in the Municipality of Loulé in the classical guitar and recorder classes. Later, he continued his studies in recorder at the Regional Conservatory of Faro with Professor Francisco Rosado. Later, she completed her degree in Biology at the University of Évora and was a research fellow at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon.
He attended the recorder degree at the Escola Superior de Artes Aplicadas and currently, in addition to an intense concert activity, he is completing his Master's Degree in Teaching at the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa, where he also began his studies in Baroque oboe with the professor Pedro Castro.
His interest in the recorder and historically informed interpretation has led him to attend several intensive courses, workshops and masterclasses since 1998, namely 'Encounters of Music at Casa de Mateus', 'Encounters of Ancient Music in Loulé', 'Summer Courses for Young Musicians from Caldas da Rainha', 'International Courses of Ancient Music', master classes at the University of Évora and at the School of Music at the National Conservatory. It has been improving with internationally renowned professionals, including: Jostein Gundersen, Bart Cohen, Bart Spanhove, Dorothee Oberlinger, Bert Honig, Monika Mush, Lara Morris, César Viana and Pedro Couto Soares, Ricardo Kanji, Antoinette Lohmann. He participated in concerts with the ensembles Banchetto Musicale, Ensemble Barroco do Chiado, Divino Sospiro, Ensemble of Ancient Music of the Conservatory Santa Cecilia of Rome, Project Baroque Orchestra, Flowers of Mvsica & Chapel Joanina, Contágio Baroque, and since 2012 he is a soloist and founding member of the Iberian Concerto - Orquestra Barroca, directed by João Paulo Janeiro.
In 2011, she was awarded two first prizes in the categories of soloist and chamber music in the Young Music Interpreters Competition. He recently participated in the recording for CD of Vespers of the Blessed Virgin of João Lourenço Rebelo with the groupings Flores de Mvsica and Capella Joanina. He teaches Recorder and Flute Consort at the Regional Conservatory of Algarve.
