Baroque Singing

Soprano, born in Rome, she graduated in Musicology at the Sapienza University and obtained with honors the II level Academic Diploma in Renaissance and Baroque Singing at the Licinio Refice Conservatory. A pupil of Rudolf Knoll at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, she perfected her studies with Emma Kirkby, Paola Leolini, Luisa Castellani, Furio Zanasi. 

With a repertoire ranging from Baroque to contemporary vocality, as a soloist he sang under the direction of Michele Mariotti, Gianandrea Noseda, Fabio Biondi, Giuseppe Grazioli at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna, at the Regio in Turin, at the Fenice in Venice, at the Opera in Montecarlo, at the Comunale in Modena, at the Verdi in Pisa. 

She has performed with several ensembles including the Luca Marenzio Choir of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, I Cameristi Vocali Italiani, Europa Galante, Concerto Romano, Tacitevoci Ensemble, La Vertuosa compagnia de' musici di Roma, Il Concerto d'Arianna, Seicentonovecento, I Turchini Ensemble.  In 2012 she was chosen by Maestro Claudio Abbado to participate in the Ninth Project with the Mozart Orchestra of Bologna and has performed in numerous festivals and concert seasons in Italy and abroad including: Handel Festival in Halle, Malatesta Festival in Rimini, Baroktage Stift Melk, Biennial of Contemporary Music in Zagreb, Music Weeks of the Accademia Chigiana in Siena,  Festival Alessandro Stradella of Nepi, Oratorio del Gonfalone of Rome, Academia Montis Regalis, Festival Nuova Consonanza, IUC Rome, Radio Clasìca Madrid, Misteria Pascalia of Krakow, The concerts of the Quirinale of Radio 3 Rai, Artcity 2019. 

She has recorded for Glossa, Hyperion, Naxos and Dynamic some first performances in modern times of composers such as Cesti, Stradella, Draghi, Händel and some of his interpretations are contained in the soundtrack of the films: "Io, Don Giovanni" by Carlos Saura and in "L'ultimo bacio" by Gabriele Muccino. 

Versatile performer, she dedicates herself to contemporary musical theater collaborating among others with Nicola Piovani, Vincenzo Cerami, Ennio Morricone, Marco Tutino, Germano Mazzocchetti, Beppe Navello, Davide Livermore, Mario Martone, Bruno de Franceschi, Lucio Dalla, Valter Malosti. 

Teacher of Canto Rinascimentale and Barocco at the Conservatory A. Corelli of Messina, collaborate with numerous institutions including Officina Pasolini, Mus-E and the Scuola di Cinema Volonté.
